Your voice against corruption

Solis is latin for ‘sunlight’

A century ago, American Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis famously wrote that “sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants” when it comes to dealing with corruption.

The Solis Foundation is an anti-corruption, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enlivening Victoria’s Human Rights Charter through education and community engagement.

Corruption undermines basic human rights such as fairness, justice and equality for all. Corruption also destroys trust in our governments and institutions. The Victorian Human Rights Charter offers a guiding light to expose and explain corrupt behaviour. Through this lens and with community support, The Solis Foundation seeks to eradicate corruption where ever it may be found.

It’s time to shine the light into the darkness.

Stop The Secrecy
(FOI Act)

For decades governments have allowed the weakening of our Freedom of Information laws, to the point where government secrecy and dishonesty have never been worse.

This must change.

Seats For Sale
(Group Voting Tickets)

It emerged during the 2022 Victorian state election that upper house seats were being offered for sale for $50,000 by self-described “preference whisperer” Glenn Druery. To do this, Druery was exploiting a controversial Group Voting Tickets System, which has been made illegal in every other state and territory in Australia, except Victoria.

United by a common goal to eradicate corruption in all its forms, Solis is backed by a group of Victorians who leverage their varied experiences to drive impactful change.

From advocating for systemic reforms to navigating legal complexities, together, we stand firm in our commitment to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in the public sector.
